Easy Crochet Oven Gloves Pattern

My mum first learnt how to crochet when she was 9 growing up in Germany, one of the first things they were taught to make was oven gloves, she recently remade the general idea of the oven gloves but more modernized.

This is a really easy and quick project, perfect for an afternoons work plus you get something very useful at the end of it.

This tutorial just for the plain oven gloves, this gives you room to personalize them to suit your kitchen or you can look at the quick tutorials we have here on the blog to give you some inspiration :)

You can chose any colour combination you like for this pattern, we chose white & blue to suit our kitchen :)

Oven Glove Pattern (make 4)

ch 35

Row 1: sc into the second ch from hook, sc to the end of the row (34)

Row 2-35: ch 1 & turn, sc to the end of the row (34)

Finish off and weave in ends

Now lay the two panels together lining up all the sides,

With your chosen color, draw a loop through both sides and begin to sc around 3 sides of the panels, when you reach the end of the 3rd panel, chain 14 and then attach it to the panels with a sl st (this creates a loop so you can hang the gloves)

Finish off and weave in ends

As always please feel free to comment and let us know what colours and designs you chose for your gloves :)
